The Hallberg-Rassy 43 is one of many successful models from the Swedish yard, based on the island of Orust. The yard built 199 yachts between 2001 and 2016 and it has won prestigious awards all over the world. It is easy to understand why, as the 43 has all the typical Hallberg-Rassy benchmarks. It goes without saying that this is a well-built blue water cruiser. The interior plan is all on one level, there is a seagoing galley, a windshield, a rubbing strake on the hull, good engine, generous tankage and timeless beautiful lines with a natural grace. The interior offers two spacious cabins; a double and a single berth in the aft cabin and a v-berth in the forward cabin. Both have their own heads with shower. The U-shaped galley is directly to starboard of the entrance and the navigation area is to port. In the saloon are two sofas and a solid table with foldable sides. With the Hallberg-Rassy 43, the yard has managed to create a yacht with great sailing performance, generous spaces in the saloon and cabins and a well-protected cockpit where you can easily handle the sails through a battery of push-buttons.
Hallberg-Rassy 43, HILDA AF TÄBY, has been sailed by its third owner since 2014. The current owners have sailed in the Baltic Sea and Kattegat, with visits to both Germany and Denmark in the summers. HILDA underwent a major refit in 2015 including an update of sails and systems servicing on board. In recent years, she has also been updated with new instruments and batteries. She is a well-equipped lady with all conceivable equipment to cope with life aboard, no matter what task she is faced with. She comes with diesel generator, watermaker and washing machine. The owners have taken good care of her with no expense spared to keep her in perfect condition. This Hallberg-Rassy 43 feels and looks great, and she is ready to embark on new adventures.
