The Maxi 1300 is a true performance cruiser, designed by well-known sailing legend Pelle Pettersson for sailing enthusiasts who welcome the feeling of being one with a boat of true character.
Excellent design ensures that every detail on the Maxi 1300’s deck and cockpit provides maximum sailing pleasure and optimal safety in all conditions. Dual steering wheels and the conveniently placed winches give total control to the solo sailor. Five compartments for all sheets and halyards help keep the cockpit clean.
The electric winches for genoa and mainsail are operated from the helmsman’s station. The guests are then not disturbed by the sailing management. The boat is equipped with an electric Furlex for the self-tacking jib. The boom is of Park Avenue type, Pelle’s own design. The boom takes good care of the mainsail when taken down and is an excellent support when approaching the mast.
