We are delighted to offer this exceptionally well-equipped Hanse 545, a yacht that combines contemporary design, impressive sailing performance and outstanding onboard comfort.

Delivered new in 2010 and now in the hands of her second owner, SAND has been carefully used for just a few weeks each summer, primarily for family cruising in the waters of the Skagerrak and Kattegat. Her limited use and careful ownership make her a particularly attractive example of this impressive model.

The Hanse 545 stands out with her sleek, modern lines, clean deck layout and spacious cockpit, featuring twin steering wheels and a fold-down bathing platform. Large hull windows, generous deck glazing and a low-profile coachroof create a distinctive appearance while allowing plenty of natural light into the interior. Designed to deliver excellent sailing performance while remaining easy to handle, she is equipped with both bow and stern thrusters, together with two electric winches. These features make manoeuvring and sail handling considerably easier, whether cruising with family or sailing with a small crew.

Below deck, the interior is remarkably spacious, bright and welcoming, offering a comfortable three-cabin layout with accommodation for six people. The generous forward owner’s cabin features a large double berth and a private en-suite bathroom with a shower cabin, while two comfortable double guest cabins are located aft. The impressive galley is positioned to starboard of the companionway and is exceptionally well-equipped for extended cruising and entertaining. Features include two refrigerators, two freezers, a three-burner gas cooker with oven and dishwasher. Generous work surfaces in dark Plexicore, together with extensive storage, make this a highly practical and enjoyable space. To port of the companionway is a dedicated navigation station and a separate bathroom with shower. Further forward, the spacious saloon offers a large L-shaped sofa with dining table to port and a comfortable sofa to starboard, creating an inviting area for relaxing and socialising.

Owner's Comments

SAND has given us many wonderful experiences over the years and has been a fantastic and comfortable floating summer home.

We have primarily enjoyed spending time aboard in Bohus Malmön, with occasional sailing trips between Bohus Malmön, Kungshamn and Gothenburg, stopping at some of the beautiful harbours along the way. We have also enjoyed a few longer trips to the Väderöarna islands and Læsø in Denmark. However, we must admit that we have probably spent more time relaxing on board than sailing her, and she certainly deserves to be sailed more!

One of the features we particularly appreciate is the large, angled windows, which provide a wonderful view of the surroundings while sailing and create a unique feeling of space and light below deck.

SAND is also surprisingly easy to handle, even with a small crew, making her a very enjoyable yacht for relaxed cruising. She has been a wonderful part of our summers, and we hope her next owners will enjoy her just as much as we have.
