Do you dream of sailing adventures and/or comfortable living on board a yacht in northern latitudes? We are pleased to offer a well-built 52-foot, ketch-rigged motor sailor. The hull and deck are made of ship-class steel, and the construction is certified by Lloyds. The yacht was launched in 1995 and has been used by the owner for sailing adventures with family and friends in northern waters.
ISA features a large pilothouse with good visibility and ample natural light. There is also a sofa, chairs, and a table with seating for 6-7 people. Going down one level forward to port, you’ll find a spacious, well-equipped galley with lots of refrigerator and freezer space, a gas stove, oven, stainless steel sink, and plenty of storage. There is also a washing machine on board. Further forward, there is a large bathroom with shower space to port and a sofa (which can be used as a berth) with two large wardrobes to starboard. In the bow, there is a guest cabin with two bunk beds for four people and two large wardrobes.
In the passage aft, you pass the engine room, located under the pilothouse, and to stern is a generous owner’s cabin with a double bed, table, chair, and more storage.
The engine is a Scania D11, 195 hp, which was completely overhauled in 1995 and has since been operated for approximately 5,500 hours. Normal cruising speed is about 6.5-7 knots at (only) around 1200 rpm. The diesel tanks have a total capacity of just over 4,000 litres. ISA is built with three separate watertight compartments (forward cabin, aft cabin, and engine room) that can be completely closed off with sturdy doors, providing great safety.
The yacht is insulated with 80mm self-extinguishing foam (similar to polystyrene). The waterborne heating system is powered by a diesel stove, and there is also a wood-burning stove on board.
ISA is a robust and well-maintained motor sailer, designed and built for sailing and/or comfortable living in northern waters – even when the ice sets in and the yacht is frozen in…
ISA is lying in Skärhamn, approximately 1 hour north of Gothenburg.
