The Najad 373 is a robust, great sailing and very beautiful yacht. Built and adapted for comfortable sailing, whether you are sailing close to the coast or on the open sea. The Najad 373 was one of the first boats where Najad involved the yacht designer Judel/Vrolijk & Co, which, among other things, resulted in a very well designed sailing yacht with nice lines.
The boat has a sandwich construction with Divinycell as the core material. It has a deep bilge, lead keel and a skeg rudder. The layout offers a spacious saloon with two sofas, navigation area and a light toilet. She has a longitudinal galley and aft of this a comfortable owner’s cabin with a small sofa. In the bow, you will find a v-berth for 2 guests.
Out at sea, you are well protected in the comfortable centre cockpit where a fixed windshield with sprayhood is especially appreciated when the weather is at its worst. The boat has a consistently high level of equipment and Najad’s recognized high quality of woodwork will delight sailors for many years.
Najad 373, BESS is hull number 30 and was purchased by the current second owner in 2003. The boat is in good condition for its age and has received quite a few updates in recent years. The boat has been used sparingly and has low hours on the Yanmar engine. BESS has been updated with, among other things, an electric winch for easy handling when reefing and furling the mainsail.
In the bow and stern, there are electric windlasses that, together with bow thrusters, facilitate anchoring in natural harbours and marinas. The toilet has been changed to an electric one and there is a good battery bank with an efficient charger. A new plotter is located at the steering position.
