M/Y MINNE is a distinctive motor cruiser inspired by 1930s design, built on the island of Tjörn. The current owner purchased the hull in 2012 and, in collaboration with skilled professional boatbuilders, dedicated seven years to completing her into the exceptional and modern vessel she is today.
The hull was produced in GAP by Båtbyggarna in Rönnäng, while the superstructure is also constructed in GAP and carefully finished to give the appearance of a traditional mahogany build. This approach was chosen to achieve a classic aesthetic combined with minimal maintenance requirements.
The interior is finished in epoxy-treated mahogany, and all exterior woodwork is crafted in teak.
She is equipped throughout with modern, high-quality equipment. Onboard comfort is excellent, offering three cabins with a total of six berths, two bathrooms, a fully equipped galley, a stove, advanced marine electronics, and a dependable propulsion system.
Overall, M/Y MINNE blends timeless Scandinavian design with contemporary construction techniques and equipment, making ownership both straightforward and enjoyable. While she is a custom-built yacht, her displacement characteristics and comfort are comparable to well-known other trawler-style vessels.
