Hallberg-Rassy 372 was launched in 2008 and quickly became a popular model among both long-time and new Hallberg-Rassy customers. While Hallberg-Rassy is perhaps best known for its center cockpit yachts, about 60% of the nearly 10,000 boats built have been with an aft cockpit. The Hallberg-Rassy 372 is built in 120 examples and was designed by Germán Frers. It is optimized to be a fast cruiser with a modern sail plan, without compromising onboard comfort. The hull features a more pronounced sheer line, a straight bow, and a flatter bottom than previous models, enhancing the boat’s sailing performance. As a result of this new hull design, the boat won its class in the prestigious Tjörn Runt regatta and was awarded the European Yacht of the Year in the Luxury Cruiser category in 2010.
The Hallberg-Rassy 372 boasts a clean and sleek deck layout, with halyards running under the superstructure, and the cockpit is well-protected behind the fixed windscreen. The furling drum is also mounted under the deck. She features two beautifully varnished chart tables, and from the helmsman’s position, you have full control of sail trim, with access to both the mainsheet track and the electric winches. The cockpit is very spacious, and the easy access to the swim platform is appreciated by all onboard. The deck has five flush-mounted skylights, which, combined with opening portlights, create a very bright interior with excellent ventilation. Hallberg-Rassy is known for creating generous space in their yachts, and the layout of the 372 offers accommodation for up to six people. The woodwork is of the highest quality, made of light mahogany. The saloon has two full-length sofas, and both cabins feature spacious double berths. The owner’s cabin in the bow has a V-shaped berth, a seat, dressers, and two wardrobes. Directly by the companionway is a forward-facing navigation station with ample space for charts, also functioning well as a workspace. Aft, there is a bright and fresh bathroom with a separate shower area, complete with a shower door and wet locker. The U-shaped galley offers plenty of space and is conveniently located near the cockpit. Naturally, it is equipped with a gas stove, refrigerators, and work surfaces made of composite material. The floorboards have inspection hatches and are protected by full carpeting.
Hallberg-Rassy 372, WILDA, has spent her life on the west coast of Sweden with her first owner. She has lived a luxurious life, with service, maintenance, and indoor winter storage carried out by Br. Martinsson in Svineviken, Orust. Ahead of this sailing season, she received a new sprayhood as well as a short cockpit tent, which is very useful when sailing with a small crew. WILDA is equipped with fine EPEX sails and a furling gennaker, allowing her to showcase her excellent sailing performance. The Hallberg-Rassy 372 is a fast and easy-to-handle boat, and if you’re looking for a high-quality yacht with plenty of sailing enjoyment, this is the boat for you.
She is in top condition and has a new boat feeling. If this sounds interesting, you should definitely book a viewing!
WILDA is an absolutely fantastic sailboat. She offers excellent helm response and is very easy to maneuver. With the help of electric winches, a powerful engine, and a bow thruster, she can be sailed effortlessly by a small crew. Over the years, she has always been professionally serviced and stored indoors during the winter, which has helped her maintain her pristine condition. Occasionally, we’ve left the west coast for sailing trips to Denmark and Germany, but now, unfortunately, we must leave the sailing life behind. We are confident that WILDA will provide great sailing experiences to her new crew.
