Minor Offshore 34 WR is manufactured by Sarins Båtar in Finland. With more than 2,000 boats produced, the name Minor was changed in 2014 to the now more well-known Sargo. The model was launched in 2001 and quickly became a popular choice among leisure sailors and has even been used professional by the police. Minor Offshore 34 WR is an off-road vehicle adapted for the sea, featuring a pilothouse and walkaround design that can manage rough weather and tough seas. Together with Botnia Targa, Finnish manufacturers have created a unique class for these safe adventure boats.
The layout offers two cabins, consisting of a forward cabin and an aft cabin. The owner’s cabin in the bow has a V-shaped double berth and a longitudinal single berth. In the bow, there is also a spacious and bright bathroom with shower. The aft cabin, accessible from the cockpit and the salon, features a spacious longitudinal berth on the starboard side and a transverse single berth. The aft cabin also serves as excellent additional storage space if the other large storage compartments are not sufficient. The best feature of the boat is, of course, the spacious pilothouse with sliding entrance doors on both sides and a large skylight. At the aft end of the pilothouse is the salon with a spacious sofa and a full-length pole for the table. At the helm station, there are forward-facing comfortable chairs and an unbeatable view through the fixed windows. Naturally, you can adjust the seat and steering wheel to your preferred driving position. On the port side, there is a small but practical galley with a diesel hub, microwave, and refrigerator. There is plenty of storage space, good ventilation, and natural light. The aft deck features a secure cockpit with high railings and a solid stainless-steel guardrail. Large gas-spring-assisted hatches cover the spacious engine room and storage compartments at the stern. Through a door in the railing, you can reach the swim platform, which also serves excellently when lifting your lobster pots.
PLUFF has only had two meticulous owners who have taken great care of her. The current owner has updated her with a new complete Raymarine navigation system, including both radar and AIS, and a new plotter. The electrical system has been upgraded with a proper isolation transformer, and there is both running heating and a diesel heater, making her suitable for all seasons at sea. She was delivered with an impressive specification that includes both bow and stern thrusters, a fine teak deck, and an electric windlass at the stern. For propulsion, she is equipped with the powerful Volvo Penta D9 engine, a true workhorse that, together with the straight shaft, provides long service life, low maintenance costs, and trouble-free ownership.
This is a boat equally suited for family adventures, as a transport boat, or the perfect choice for autumn lobster fishing. A safe boat offering impressive offshore capabilities. Contact us to book your time for a viewing.
