The Najad 361 is a successful model from the well-known yard based on the Island of Orust on the Swedish west coast. A total of approximately 135 hulls of this model were manufactured between 1994-2001.
The Najad 361 is built with an integrated swim platform in the stern, a small wing profiled lead keel which is bolted to a deep bilge, a skeg hung rudder and a solid sandwich constructed hull and deck. The well protected centre cockpit is rather deep with comfortable seats/backrests and a fixed windscreen. Most of the sail handling can be done from the cockpit. The Najad 361 is perfectly suited for both costal and high seas sailing.
Najad 361, AQUA WITT was presented by the yard at the boot Düsseldorf show in 1997 and was delivered to her first owner in the summer of 1997. AQUA WITT has been sailed in Scandinavian waters by Swedish owners ever since. The current and fourth owners bought the yacht from Berthon Scandinavia in 2015.
AQUA WITT offers a two cabin layout including an owner’s aft cabin and a forward guest cabin. The longitudinal galley, head and navigation area are located directly at the entrance stairs. The high quality mahogany interior and the blue coloured upholstery is in good condition for her age. The in-mast furling system makes sail handling easy and safe for all and especially when sailing with a small crew.
AQUA WITT is fitted with a shallow draft keel providing 1.6m draft, which makes it possible to access hidden anchorages and explore the European channels.
