The Najad 373 is a well-balanced, solid and seaworthy construction from Najadvarvet & Judel/Vrolijk. The boatyard has a well-known reputation for its high quality and fine craftmanship. Yachts produced by them are traditional in their design, whilst using modern technology. This Najad 373 is no exception. She was built on Orust, an island on the west coast of Sweden with a long history and pride for their craftmanship.

The interior design is hand made in highest quality Mahogany with beautiful lines and curves and with well thought through details throughout the yacht. The ceiling is covered in white headliner, giving the yacht an elegant look.

The Najad 373 is designed with a V-shaped hull that makes her move gently through the waves. She is a sturdy, comfortable and very secure yacht, that is both perfect for narrow archipelago sailing as well as more heavy weather, offshore sailing. Out at sea, you are well protected in her centre cockpit where a fixed windshield is especially appreciated when the weather is at its worst. The width of the side decks and foredeck gives secure passages in rough conditions.

CURIEUSE is easy to handle, whether you are sailing as a single handed solo sailor or bringing the family aboard to enjoy weeks on the boat. The engine room is large, and the engine is easily accessible from different sides.

CURIEUSE is has been very well maintained, is fully equipped and feels like a small “super yacht”. You will find her inviting and suitable for Scandinavian winter sailing or equally for Caribbean cruising.

This Najad 373/029, CURIEUSE sailed the freshwater lake of Mälaren, Sweden, for her first 16 years.
She has allways been stored under full cover during winters and over the last 6 years she has been well taken care of by the well-known shipyard of Rosättra, north of Stockholm.

For those who are looking for a good quality sailing yacht in good condition, this Najad 373 is an absolute must-see. Everything from teak deck to interior is in good condition.

The yacht can be viewed in the water at Norrtälje, 1h drive north of Stockholm, Sweden. During winter you can find her on land in the “Servicevarvet Rosätra AB”, north of Stockholm.

Owner's Comments

Since we bought CURIEUSE in 2016, we have sailed her to most of the countries around the Baltic Sea. Every summer she became our 2nd home. Even in strong winds and high waves, we have always felt very safe thanks to the strong hull, rig and engine. Living onboard and sailing her is very easy and with the new extended and elevated sprayhood we can enjoy nature and the view regardless of the weather. It is easy to move around in the centre cockpit and all trimlines are always in reachable distance.

We are still impressed by her beautiful interior and strong construction. CURIEUSE accelerates completely silently, with no hint of creaks or noises. The strong and precise autopilot is reliable and becomes like an additional crew member. The shallow draft allows us to sneak into natural harbours and pass through narrow channels and reach those small islands we never could have imagined.

She has given us a sense of freedom.
