Sweden Yachts 390 is a well-built cruiser racer with good seaworthiness. The yacht offers a layout with two cabins and four berths. The big aft cabin has two entrance doors – one each side of stairs, there is one toilet with shower as well as a large well-planned galley and navigation space. The saloon has two sofas, which can also be used as berths, and also has unusually good storage space.
Every detail, from the shape of the hull to the design of the rig, works together as a harmonious whole, creating an unmatched yacht for serious sailing.
Sail and rig handling have been simplified to minimise effort and add more pleasure to the whole sailing experience. The cockpit is ergonomically designed, giving the helmsman a relaxed, well-balanced environment even under really tough conditions in open sea, hard weather sailing.
This specific Sweden Yachts 390 was built with various options and was used as a showboat in Stockholm in 1991.
We have owned DIVINE since 1991 and enjoyed every single trip, short or long. She is easy to sail, perfectly balanced in light to strong winds. And even in heavy weather she is manageable, and never once have we worried if she could hold up in heavy weather conditions. She sails fast in respect to her weight and size and is built to last.
We had a SWY 340 before this SWY 390 and where very happy to sail a Sweden Yacht, because of the high quality, sailings performance and ease of sailing.
