Forgus 37 - Sold

The Forgus 37 is a classic centre cockpit yacht built on the island of Orust. A solid yacht for both short and long trips at sea. A yacht that can easily be sailed by a couple and offers accommodation for 4-6 people.

This Forgus 37 was originally bought by an Englishman who used it as a floating summerhouse and for sailing in the Mediterranean. The second owner was based in Greece. He set WINDRA up for long distance sailing. Much of the equipment on-board was updated, including an investment in a new engine. When the boat was ready, the plans changed, and a Swedish family became her owners when they bought WINDRA in Greece in 2016. They used the yacht for some sailing in Mediterranean and then sailed back home to Sweden through Europe’s canals. The current owners who bought WINDRA in 2019 have done some recent updates including, for example, new instrumentation, canvas, windows and more.

A draft of 1.58 m and the substantial lead keel make WINDRA suitable not only for oceans and archipelagos, but also for the canals of Europe.
