The Dehler 38 is a yacht that can be described as a true success from the German shipyard. Since the yacht’s introduction in 2013, over 500 have been produced, making the Dehler 38 one of the best-selling models of all time in the performance-cruiser segment. What is behind this success? Judel/Vrolijk & Co. has tastefully combined performance with excellent comfort on board. The shipyard also has consistently good build quality and has made wise choices when selecting equipment suppliers. The Dehler 38 has received several upgrades over the years and in 2017, ‘Generation 2’ was introduced with a carbon-reinforced beam system (Carbon Cage), an L-shaped keel, and better steering positions.
On board the Dehler 38, you will find a large and welcoming open cockpit with dual helms, which not only provides good passage but also an unbeatable view of the deck. The cockpit has a fixed table and a foldable bathing platform, offering everything you need to enjoy the archipelago. Below deck is a bright saloon with hull windows, large skylights and portlights in the superstructure. To starboard of the entrance, there is an L-shaped galley with plenty of space. Moving forward, there are two spacious sofas with a center-line mounted table with foldable sides. The navigation station can be moved to provide more space for socializing, and the electronics are hidden behind cabinet doors. In the bow, you will find the master cabin with a large V-berth and wardrobes on both sides. To stern, there is a cabin with two berths on the starboard side and a large storage area on the port side. The bathroom is bright and has a separate shower area.
Dehler 38, BLUENOSE has only been used for cruising in the Baltic Sea and Skagerrak since her launch in 2019. The owner has meticulously maintained her and made upgrades, even though she has only been used for three seasons and has been in the water for a total of six months! Service and storage have been professionally handled by Yachtzentrum Damp in Germany and most recently by Vindö Marin on Orust during the winter. The yacht has always been stored indoors when not in the water.
BLUENOSE has an impressive equipment list, including full teak, performance sails, B&G instruments, and a bow thruster. The performance on board this Dehler 38 will not disappoint, and the yacht is in excellent condition with no damage.
She will be launched in May and is ready to take you and your family on new adventures.
