The Fantasi 44 is an aft cockpit pilothouse yacht with push button rig, a lower helm station and stunning lines. Designer Gabriel Heyman definitely has an eye for designing beautiful and functional yachts and the build quality from the Fantasi yard is excellent. The Fantasi 44 is probably one of the nicest yacht models ever designed and built in Sweden. Capable of sailing any ocean in style and comfort.
This Fantasi 44, RHAPSODY was sailed by her first owners in Scandinavia until 2003, when she was sent by road transport to Mediterranean. The area around Greece was her sailing ground until 2018, when the yacht was transported back to Sweden by the second owner; they bought her in 2010. During her time in Mediterranean RHAPSODY was rather lightly sailed and was stored under a sun awning.
In 2021, RHAPSODY was sold to the current (third) owner, who has sailed her for two seasons in Scandinavian waters.
The layout offers a super nice open pilothouse saloon with seating and table and a great view of the surroundings. To starboard of the seating area is the inside steering area and navigation table – with plenty of storage space. There is an aft owners cabin with a double berth and a single berth and access to the aft heads/shower. The spacious galley is located mid ships to port. To starboard of the galley is a library, with a sofa, book shelf and cupboards. Forward is a v-berth with en-suite heads/shower. Plenty of storage throughout the yacht.
The interior is made of teak and is very nicely built by the skilled workers at Fantasi Yachts.
