Launched in 2025, BRAZUCA is a stunning and highly specified example of a Garcia Exploration 45, and the first ever 24V DC boat of her kind. She was designed in collaboration with the renowned sailor Jimmy Cornell, specifically with the Northwest Passage in mind, but she is equally at home in the tropics.

She offers her owner and guests on board fabulous comfort and security wherever they are around the globe. Her aluminium hull, centreboard, twin rudders, protected lookout, deck saloon, thermal insulation, watertight door, and double glazing are all examples of the versatility that she offers.

BRAZUCA truly opens the door to unlimited adventures! She is safe, autonomous, comfortable at sea, comfortable on board, easy to manoeuvre and simply is the perfect for a couple or a family with friends wishing to explore the world.

To give an example of quite how much security and comfort she offers… Her 45-foot aluminium hull has thickness ranging from 5mm to 12 mm, which offers unmatched impact resistance in case of collision. For even greater peace of mind, the hull features a watertight bulkhead at the bow, as well as the stern. Her propeller shaft protected by a fin, her rudders are made of aluminium and have a protective skeg. The rudder also has a sacrificial zone at the top, which in the event of an impact and should the wick bend, then the hull is preserved and the rudder remains functional.

BRAZUCA’s helm station is sheltered by a rigid ‘cap’, and from the seated position, it offers excellent protection, forward visibility, and access to sail handling, making it the ideal complement to the interior helm station. The helm station doubles as a chart table, with immediate access to all key navigation and engine controls. Ideally positioned forward of the saloon, it offers an unobstructed view ahead. Whatever the conditions outside, the watchkeeper remains warm and dry at the heart of the yacht.
