Farr 60 Pilothouse JOYRIDE is a performance oriented cruising yacht that offers excellent comfort, space and speed. Her relatively deep (2.75m) wing keel combined with her fast hull design makes JOYRDE a real mile muncher. The hydraulic operated in-mast mainsail and two hydraulic furlers for the head sails (operated from the protected centre-cockpit) allows easy and safe sail handling. The wide beam (5.48m) and stern, not only gives JOYRIDE a modern look but offers her owners a far larger master cabin than one would expect from a 70 footer.
Both the navigation area and saloon are situated inside the pilothouse, allowing you to stay dry and helm the yacht in comfort. The large galley, (with 5 x fridge/freezers and an electric 3 hotplate stove with oven), is located to port of the entrance stairs. JOYRIDE offers 3 guest cabins with separate heads and there is a workshop forward. The machinery room is easily accessible and houses the generator, hydraulic system and watermaker. The recently refurbished engine room is located under the saloon floor.
JOYRIDE has mainly been sailed in Mediterranean. In recent years JOYRIDE has sailed in the Stockholm area. This is a fabulous yacht for long term live aboard and bluewater sailing. JOYRIDE was built by the skilled yacht builders at Najad yard, guaranteeing quality throughout.
