This Beneteau yacht radiates performance and elegance. The hull’s chines create a wide aft hull, combined with twin rudders, providing unbeatable grip in the water and top-class sailing performance. Sail handling is made easy thanks to twin forestays, with the jib running on a self-tacking track. Dual helm positions offer a perfect view of the deck and sails.

The interior of the Sense 55 is spacious and bathed in natural light, reminiscent of the world of superyachts. The owner’s cabin boasts exceptional features – a private shower room, a personal office, ample functional storage, and a large floor area. Guests are treated to two double cabins that resemble luxurious private suites. If you have additional crew on board, there is also a crew cabin and the option to convert the saloon and cockpit into additional sleeping spaces. The galley is spacious and resembles more of a home kitchen than something you’d typically find on a yacht. The Sense 55 is equipped with all modern conveniences such as a dishwasher, microwave, and a large refrigerator and freezer. Above the 3-burner gas stove, there is a built-in exhaust fan.

The standard equipment has been replaced with better components and there is a uniqe solution with wireless control for the manoeuvring system. She has a big powerbank with batteries and if you need more, there is an efficient genset. Raymarine has delivered a complete setup with navigation instruments including both radar, AIS and a smart sonar depth instrument. This Beneteau Sense 55 embodies what the model’s name stands for – namely ‘Sense’. She has offered us a ‘Sense’ of complete freedom and made us ‘Feel’ pride as owners of a vessel that is so beautiful and exudes ‘Reason’. She has created and framed a ‘Meaning’ to yachting life that is impossible to deny.

To enhance our enjoyment of life on board for extended periods, we have upgraded the electrical system with a powerful battery bank and solar panels. The onboard heating system is hydrolic and is well-suited to our Scandinavian climate, providing an extra touch of luxury on board with towel warmers in all bathrooms.

We have placed particular emphasis on being able to handle and sail the yacht with a small crew. For safe and secure manoeuvring, we have continuously updated and equipped her with industry-leading marine products. The most important of these is the ZF/Beneteau Dock & Go Joystick control system, which, together with Sleipner’s Side-Power retractable bow and stern thrusters, provides an unbeatable capability to manoeuvre rher in tight harbours. The integration of these systems has been exclusively designed for this yacht. With the help of stepless manoeuvreing and hold functions, you can easily dock and moor the yourself.

We have sailed her in the Baltic Sea throughout the archipelago, to places like Gotska Sandön and Gotland, as well as to Denmark and the Swedish west coast, and back towards Germany around Bornholm towards Gotland. This has allowed us to spend as long as over two months on board with a desire to return as soon as possible.
