The Hallberg-Rassy 36 is a successful model that was built between 1989-2003, with a total of 602 units having been delivered from the Hallberg-Rassy yard in Ellös, Sweden.

Hallberg-Rassy 36 NORDIC SPIRIT II is a MKII. It was originally sold to an Englishman. After just one year it was sold to the current owner, who sailed in the British Isles for some years and took it to Sweden in May 2001, where it has remained since. NORDIC SPIRIT II has been used for family sailing. It has been serviced and kept inside at Orust Yacht Service and Bröderna Martinsson yard during the winter seasons for the past +20 years.

The interior offers an aft cabin with a double and a single berth. The galley and navigation table is located directly at the entrance stair. The saloon has two sofas and a sturdy table. In front of the mast bulkhead is a head and a forward cabin with a v-berth. The interior offers, in normal Hallberg-Rassy manner, plenty of space for storage.

The exterior includes a protected centre cockpit with a fixed wind screen a teak deck, and the typical MKII upgrades such as an integrated swim platform in the stern, a 30 cm wider stern, an improved aft deck locker, 67 cm longer sailing water line.
